About Grid Finance

We didn't invent how
Nigerians save and borrow.
We built the rails under it.

Ajo, Esusu, and cooperative lending already work. They were just never built for scale.

Why we exist

A huge amount of financial activity in Nigeria already moves through systems that
work on trust.

Market associations, cooperatives, salary advances between colleagues, a thrift collector who's been doing the rounds for years. Grid Finance started from a simple decision — the opportunity wasn't to replace those systems with another app, but to give any business, bank, fintech, cooperative, or SME, the infrastructure to run them digitally, under their own name, in days instead of years.

Every tenant on Grid Finance runs on the same secure, compliant infrastructure — with their own brand, their own rules, and their customer data kept fully separate from every other tenant on the platform.

How we work

Principles behind every product decision.

01

Trust is the product, not the pitch

Every feature exists to make trust between a tenant and its customers visible — not to replace it.

02

Built for how Nigeria actually pays

USSD, direct debit, and cash-adjacent flows get the same priority as card rails.

03

Infrastructure, not a bank

Grid Finance doesn't compete with its tenants for their customers.

Our Team

Builders who understand both sides of the API.

Grid Finance is built by engineers, compliance specialists, and operators who've worked inside Nigerian banks, cooperatives, and fintechs — people who know why the notebook still exists, and what it takes to replace it responsibly.

Multi-tenant financial infrastructure for Nigeria's lenders, savers, and thrift collectors.

Grid Finance is a financial infrastructure provider offering lending, savings, and contribution-circle technology to licensed and registered businesses operating in Nigeria. Grid Finance is not itself a lender, deposit-taking institution, or thrift collector, and does not directly offer financial products to end consumers. All lending, savings, and Rounds products are issued and operated by the individual tenant businesses using the Grid Finance platform, in line with applicable CBN regulations.
